ALLZONE tension rods: the heavy-duty line by width, lock and what ALLZONE states
ALLZONE sells spring tension rods in overlapping width ranges from 28 to 160 inches, plus room-divider frames. The model most people mean by “ALLZONE heavy duty” is the AZ02L for 83 to 123 inches, with a 1.25-inch pole and a pin lock. Pick the model by your measured width first; ALLZONE states no weight rating for the AZ02L.

The short version
Choose an ALLZONE rod by width: AZ02S for 28 to 42 inches, AZ02M for 42 to 78 or 83 inches, AZ19L for 40 to 121 inches, AZ02L for 83 to 123 inches and AZ01XL or AZ02XL for 123 to 160 inches. For wide windows the AZ02L is our pick. ALLZONE gives its 1.25-inch pole and pin lock but no load figure; only the short AZ02S page states a max load of 25 lb.

Who is behind ALLZONE
ALLZONE is a no-drill home brand. On its About page the company says founder Doris Peng launched it in 2017, with the mission “to eliminate the need for drilling while providing practical, space-saving solutions.” Besides tension curtain rods, its shop sells tension-pole shower caddies, toilet shelves and bookshelves. The shop names no headquarters address; support hours are given in Pacific time and delivery is offered within the mainland US.
For our comparison ALLZONE matters because it publishes its own product pages with ranges, pole diameters and the lock design. That is more than most tension rod sellers on Amazon offer. What ALLZONE leaves out on the AZ02L page is just as important: a weight rating, the tube material and a warranty. The shop lists a 30-day return and exchange window, which is not a warranty.
The ALLZONE line by width
ALLZONE's collection page lists these tension rods. All of them were marked as sold out in ALLZONE's own shop on 22 October 2026; the AZ02L remained available on Amazon.
| Model | Width range (ALLZONE) | What ALLZONE adds |
|---|---|---|
| AZ02S | 28–42 in | “Strong Spring”, twist-and-tight adjustment, max load 25 lb |
| AZ01M | 29–84 in | No-drill shower and window rod |
| AZ02M | 42–78 in or 42–83 in | “Stay-in-Place” in the title |
| AZ19M | 40–86 in | Shower and window rod |
| AZ19L | 40–121 in | 1.26-inch diameter in the title |
| AZ01L | 66–120 in | Black, white, dark brown |
| AZ02L | 83–123 in | 1.25-inch pole, pin lock (“Secure Lock”) |
| AZ01XL | 123–160 in | 1.25-inch pole, central support bracket included |
| AZ02XL | 123–160 in | Black or white |
| AZ15 | 31–83 or 31–135 in wide, 63–130 in high | Room-divider frame, not a single rod |
The ranges overlap on purpose. Several widths are covered by two models, so you can choose the one where your opening does not sit at the very end of the range. Keeping away from either end is common advice for spring rods, not a rule ALLZONE states. Our tension rod sizes guide shows how to measure the opening.
Our pick: the ALLZONE AZ02L
ALLZONE
ALLZONE AZ02L 83–123 in
A thick 1.25-inch spring tension rod with a pin lock for wide window openings from about 7 to 10 feet.
Why here: ALLZONE documents the 1.25-inch pole and the pin lock of this 83 to 123 inch rod on its own product page – maker data most wide tension rods on Amazon lack.
Best for: Wide inside-mount windows, patio-door alcoves and room dividers between 83 and 123 inches
- 1.25-inch pole diameter per ALLZONE – a stiff tube for a long span
- Pin-lock length setting (ALLZONE: “Advanced Lock in System”) instead of a twist-only thread
- ALLZONE sells the same rod family from 28 to 160 inches, so the range can be matched to the opening
- ALLZONE publishes no weight rating – keep heavy blackout panels in mind
- Starts at 83 inches: useless for normal-width windows
- Out of stock in ALLZONE’s own shop on 22 Oct 2026 (Amazon listing available)

The AZ02L is a spring tension rod for openings of 83 to 123 inches: wide living-room windows, patio-door alcoves and room dividers between two walls. ALLZONE describes three things: a 1.25-inch pole diameter, an “Advanced Lock in System” with a pin-lock mechanism, and use on surfaces “from wallpaper to tile, glass to wooden frames.” The pin lock holds the length you set, so the sections cannot creep. The grip itself still comes from the spring pressing the end caps outward and from friction at the caps.
The thick tube is the rod's answer to sag, not to slipping. A thicker tube sags less; whether the rod slips depends on the outward force at the end caps, the caps and the surface. That distinction is the subject of our page on tension rod sagging.
The long models and the center support
Above about 8 feet, sag decides more than grip. Deflection grows with the fourth power of the span, about four times the sag for every 41 % more length. ALLZONE's 123–160 inch AZ01XL ships with a “Central Support Bracket”, and its product page also mentions brackets for ceiling or wall mounting. That is the honest set-up for very wide openings: a tension rod plus a support in the middle, or a bracket rod. For openings in the 84 to 120 inch class, our 120-inch tension rod guide compares the AZ02L with longer seller-only rods.
Strengths and weaknesses
Speaks for it
- Own product pages with ranges, pole diameter and lock design
- Overlapping models from 28 to 160 inches
- 1.25-inch pole on the AZ02L and AZ01XL
- Center support bracket included with the AZ01XL
Speaks against it
- No weight rating on the AZ02L page
- Tube material not stated
- No warranty named, only a 30-day return window
- All rods sold out in ALLZONE's own shop on 22 Oct 2026
Who ALLZONE suits
ALLZONE suits you if your opening is wide, between two solid walls or jambs, and you want a maker that at least documents diameter and lock. It suits blackout and lined curtains only after you weigh them, because ALLZONE gives no rating. It suits you less if you need a written warranty or a published load figure; Moen, for example, gives a limited lifetime warranty on its tension shower rods but also states no load. How spring, twist and lock designs differ is explained in spring vs. twist tension rods.
Alternatives to ALLZONE
The closest seller-only alternative for wide windows covers almost the same span with a lower starting width:
EZFurni
EZFurni 42–123 in
A long tension rod that reaches from about 3½ to 10 feet.
Seller data only: We only have the Amazon listing for this product. We list it as an option, not as a recommendation.
Best for: Wide windows and room dividers when the opening is under 83 inches, too short for the ALLZONE AZ02L
- Very wide 42–123 in range
- Amazon files it under Spring Tension Rods (window hardware)
- No manufacturer page found; diameter and load rating unverified
- At the long end a wide span sags more

- Amazon listing title only
The EZFurni listing names 42 to 123 inches. Its data comes from the Amazon title only, so diameter, lock and load are unknown. More thick and locking rods are compared on our heavy-duty tension rod page, and openings beyond 10 feet are covered in long tension rods.
Spare parts and returns
ALLZONE's product pages name no spare end caps and no warranty. The shop lists returns and exchanges within 30 days of purchase. Keep the box until the rod has hung for a few weeks with the full curtain load, and contact ALLZONE through its website if a part fails.
Questions people ask
How much weight can an ALLZONE heavy duty tension rod hold?
ALLZONE gives no weight rating on its AZ02L product page; it speaks of weight support and stability without a number. There is no standard load capacity for tension rods, so weigh your curtains before you hang them and keep heavy blackout panels in mind, especially near 123 inches, where the rod sags most.
Which ALLZONE tension rod do I need?
Measure the inside width at the top, the middle and the bottom of the opening and use the smallest figure. Then pick the model whose printed range covers it: AZ02S 28–42 in, AZ02M 42–78 or 42–83 in, AZ19M 40–86 in, AZ19L 40–121 in, AZ01L 66–120 in, AZ02L 83–123 in, AZ01XL and AZ02XL 123–160 in.
What is ALLZONE's “Advanced Lock in System”?
ALLZONE uses that name for the pin-lock mechanism of the AZ02L and contrasts it with twist-and-tighten designs. The rod still holds by spring tension at its end caps; the pin lock keeps the set length from creeping. No maker publishes a test showing that a lock or a twist holds better than a plain spring.
